I have chronic kidney issues, stones..etc.I have found this hospital its a 50/50 chance each visit. Your nurse & your doctor determine how your time there will go.I have had bad & good. File complaints!!Against anyone who treats you ignorant. Get names and follow through depending on the severity of the treatment, get a lawyer & get them fired. Because there are good nurses and doctors who listen and care there already and more that they can replace those who dont deserve there jobs and break the medical oath & just lost all compassion & professionalism & replaced it with ignorance, ego, judgements & impatients...DONT LET IT GO, FOLLOW THROUGH!! eventually it will greatly improve the hospital for everyone! :)
Never go here!!!
I usually have great experiences at this hospital until the other night. I came across this extremely rude triage woman named Stefanie. I came in with a splitting headache and temporal swelling that had been happening for over a week. I had no luck at my PCP or a city ER and decided to try my neighborhood Mercy. She seemed angry with me when I walked through the door and didn't understand why I hadn't brought my discharge papers from the PCP and other hospital. I was literally coming from work, I made a last minute decision when my boss noticed my head swelling. My PCP and other ER did nothing but give me Motrin which wasn't helping the pain or swelling. She didn't believe me when I told her that the other hospital didn't do anything but tell me to take over the counter pain meds She snapped at me, 'So You just laid there and they did nothing'. I told her again that they gave me Motrin. The guy standing with her taking my vitals gave a nervous laugh saying' that's Stefanie, gotta love her' as to say she did this a lot. I didn't love her. I was extremely frustrated with having to deal with her attitude and my pain simultaneously. She was also pissed that I would have to take another pregnancy test because I had no proof that I wasnt pregnant. 'They will have to give you another one because you didn't bring your discharge papers' (again with the dang discharge papers). She ended with a 'you really put yourself in danger going to another hospital', I told her that I was in such pain and the other ER was so crowded I waited for 6 hours and got one pill. She snapped 'it's going to be the same here' which stressed me out even more, before I could get up she reiterated that it was going to be a long wait. There were literally 3 people, myself included, in the waiting room. She definitely made my headache worse, luckily I was there for only 2 hours and the rest of the staff and doctors were great. I feel much better and actually left understanding what was happening with my head. But my question, what's your problem Stefanie? And why are you rude to sick people? You're in the wrong place. There are people in worse condition than me I hope you show them some sympathy.
Most doctor's & staff are usually fine, exception to rule. I have never found so many arragent, pompous, rude, professional, under one roof.
